UNC Loses, Again

Is this when we start hearing from the masses about the awesomeness of the ACC? UNC destroyed all of their out of conference schedule, but have dropped their first two games within the ACC. Dickie-V will be sure to claim that ACC doimance is the case.
I don’t think that is the case at all. I think the BC game was a let down, and last night they ran into a very very good Wake Forest team. I would write more, but The Big Lead already beat me to the punch about what is happening with the Tar Heels.
Personal opinion? Wake Forest is legit, and Roy Williams is not really a good coach.

agreed. bc-unc was a major letdown on the tar heels. but acc is really good in the NC area.
that is ABSOLUTELY nothing compared to the big east madness.

As I said in the preseason, the ACC is awesome.
UNC and Wake are awesome.
Duke and Clemson are really good.
Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech are pretty good.
Maryland, NC State, BC are dangerous.
Georgia Tech is still up in the air.
Virginia is bad.

I’m saying that a good deal of Calhoun’s success is recruiting. He took Rudy Gay right out from under Gary’s nose.
Gary got really lucky with some of the guys from 2002. Dixon was a random kid that people thought was too small at a non-power school in Baltimore. Gary went to see a friend of one of his assistant coach’s kids play and The Chosen Juan was playing for the other school. Gary asked how come he never heard of him. His assistant coach said that he was too small. Gary saw the potential and made him.
This is the reason Gary might be a good NBA coach. He can’t recruit but he can coach the crap out of what he has.
