Big surprises for everyone this weekend? Not so much? I guess it all depends on whether or not you may have had money on the games. It was definitely a weird feeling though not being into too many of the games. I can’t really say why either. Was it because I was sick? Were you guys into the games? There wasnt too much traffic here over the weekend so it was hard to gauge. I think we were all recovering from the holidays by finally – well…actually taking a few days off to relax before having to go back to work…taking down the lights and stuff – or just vegging out….what ever you did, I hope it benefitted you the way all of the sleep I had this weekend benefitted me. Anyways, we all know by now that Philadelphia beat Minnesota, Baltimore beat Miami, Arizona beat Atlanta, and we wont have a Manning Bowl…So where does that leave us going into next week?

So what are the early returns on the outcomes? It’s hard not to favor all of the top seeds….but when was the last time that happened? If there is to be an upset where is it likely to happen? on second thought, you look at those games and (Sorry Sparty) you can see any of them going either way….scary if you are a fan of any of those top seeded teams.
Personally, I see Baltimore @ Pittsburgh and Carolina @ NY Giants turning into Pittsburgh and NY Giants Super Bowl…..any thoughts contrary?

On WFAN here in NY, they were saying that Jets GM, Tannenbaum, told Cowher that Jets owner, Woody Johnson was unavailable to talk to him for a week. They were saying that way Cower would say no and Tannenbaum can appoint a yes man like Little Shotty to coach who will kiss the ground Tannenbaum walks on. They also said that Johnson didn’t know that they told Cowher he was unavailable. He was in Europe or something and could have only talked this week.

JB, I checked last night and I was 11th out of 22 entries for teh S&Fs group in the gridiron challenge.
What are the rules? I assume there are advantages to picking players whose teams won.
For example, I had Reggie Wayne but since he lost, I need to get another WR. Do I get back the money I spent on Wayne?

you can pick new players every week until the championships. the players you pick for the conference championships are your players for the SB. if a player’s price goes up, you get to keep him for whatever you originally bought him for. if his price goes down you can renegotiate it down
